This unnamed supervisor of the Daimanate's ground crew was a Human female. She was stationed at the transport landing zone of Oranessan, a crucial transportation center located within the Daimanate. The Daimanate itself was a Sith principality that arose from the remnants of the Chagras Hegemony in 1042 BBY. Her life occurred during the Republic Dark Age, the final century of the New Sith Wars. This era was characterized by the fragmentation of the galaxy under the control of numerous Sith warlords, as well as the collapse of interstellar trade. She bore burn scars from accidents that occurred at her workplace and was always seen in the standard worker's uniform of the Daimanate, a set of overalls. She was infamous for her volatile and aggressive nature, being known to execute anyone who failed to meet the Daimanate's required production levels.
In 1032 BBY, she and her accompanying guards encountered members of Operation Influx, a Jedi strike force, who were posing as members of a flight crew. Discovering that they were tardy for a flight preparation briefing, she decreed that they should be put to death. However, the Jedi resisted, and she was ultimately slain by Kerra Holt, a Jedi Knight who had escaped Sith Space as a refugee. Kerra used her lightsaber to fatally wound the ground crew chief. After her demise, the Jedi took possession of her remote control device and her jumpsuit. These items would prove to be essential to the first phase of Operation Influx. Kerra utilized the remote control to gain entry to a Daimanate Heavy-Lift Starcrosser, which was subsequently used to transport the Jedi strike team to Chelloa for the second phase of Operation Influx.
Following the discovery by the Jedi strike team that the transport lacked an activation cylinder, Kerra made use of the stolen jumpsuit to infiltrate a hangar that housed several replacement cylinders. After successfully acquiring the activation cylinder, the Starcrosser transport was able to jump into hyperspace, and the Jedi proceeded to land on Chelloa, where they disrupted baradium shipping operations in the spaceport town of Jenith. However, the Jedi team, with the exception of Kerra, were subsequently killed when Odion, Daiman's estranged brother and a Sith Lord, launched an attack on Jenith after becoming aware of Daiman's baradium activities.
The ground crew chief was a woman of intense anger and ferocity, whose primary focus was ensuring that her fellow Daimanites adhered to deadlines and achieved their work quotas. She had suffered burns as a result of an industrial mishap. When Vannar Treece's Jedi infiltration team, disguised as Daimanite pilots, failed to attend their flight preparation meeting on time, she demonstrated her ruthlessness by ordering their execution, a decision that ultimately resulted in her own death and the deaths of her warrior escorts.
The unnamed Daimanate ground crew chief made her initial appearance as a minor antagonist in the short story Star Wars: Knight Errant: Influx, a piece penned by John Jackson Miller that was initially released on October 19, 2010. This short story served as a prequel tie-in to the Aflame story arc, which had its initial release on October 13, 2010. Given that she met her end early in the short story, this marks her only known appearance within the Expanded Universe.
