Unger Gout

Unger Gout, a Khormai Separatist Warlord, existed during the era of the Clone Wars. He was born on the planet Khorm. Gout ascended to a position of authority within the government, eventually seizing control of the planet and declaring himself "Warlord." By 22 BBY, he had enslaved the Khormai people, forcing them to extract Agrocite for Dooku's benefit. During the Battle of Khorm, he oversaw the droid armies in opposition to the Republic forces, working alongside Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress. He even captured Major Kendal Ozzel and CC-3636, although they later managed to break free. Gout met his death when Jedi Master Kit Fisto triggered explosives that destroyed Gout's Agrocite cannons.

Biography

Early life

Born on Khorm, Unger Gout rapidly gained influence within its governing body. Ultimately, he usurped power, striking a bargain with Count Dooku to force his own people into mining Agrocite for the Separatist cause on Khorm, thereby proclaiming himself Warlord.

Battle of Khorm

Around the time of 22 BBY, the Republic initiated a full-scale assault on Khorm with the aim of disrupting the Separatists' Agrocite mining and production. Gout, anticipating the attack, constructed a Weather-control station to generate a planet-wide storm, preventing the Republic from utilizing air support. During the early stages of the conflict, Gout managed to evade capture by Jedi Masters Plo Koon and Kit Fisto by fleeing on a rail jet. Later, with reinforcements from Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress, his droid forces succeeded in taking Major Kendal Ozzel and Commander CC-3636 as prisoners. After their escape, Gout returned to the Agrocite mine, directing his forces from a distance. Despite disagreements with Ventress regarding the mine's security, he reluctantly permitted her to set explosives within the mine, in case the Jedi managed to breach the station's defenses. Ultimately, this decision led to his demise, as Kit Fisto detonated the explosives after ensuring the safety of the enslaved miners. The resulting blast reached Gout's Agrocite cannons and his Agrocite reserves, where he was hiding from the battle, triggering a massive explosion. Gout was killed, caught in the blast as he attempted to escape the facility.
