The Umber Banks existed in close proximity to certain plains of the planet Bresnan, which itself was part of the Wellte-ir system.
It was at the Umber Banks that the tragic event known as the Wellte-ir Massacre transpired, resulting in the deaths of fifteen individuals belonging to the Rebel Scandium Team. Aven Cholus, a member of the Scandium Team, managed to save the remaining five members.
