TX-567 was a member of the Galactic Empire's stormtrooper corps during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
In the year 0 ABY, TX-567 was part of an Imperial group assigned to the sub-facility task force situated on the planet known as Tol Ado. He served under an Imperial major and participated in the interrogation of Santo, an Imperial informant providing information about rebel activity within the sub-facility. When Luke Skywalker, posing as an Imperial colonel, tried to seize TX-567's repulsorcraft, the trooper denied the request, explaining that the sub-facility task force's requirements took priority over those of standard Imperial forces.
Troy Denning created TX-567, who made an appearance in a role-playing section of Jedi's Honor, a West End Games role-playing supplement from 1990. The destiny of TX-567 is determined by the reader, who has the option to compel TX-567 to relinquish the repulsorcraft to Skywalker. Should this transpire, Skywalker uses his lightsaber to eliminate both TX-567 and the Imperial major, subsequently concealing their bodies within an access panel to prevent raising alarms. Conversely, if Skywalker heeds TX-567's explanation and refrains from commandeering the vehicle, the stormtrooper and his fellow soldiers persist in their duties and are not encountered thereafter.
