Trone Thanamiroc, a master of disguise, was a male operative of the Galactic Empire during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Bren Kingal claimed he was a spree killer, but this accusation might have been one of Kingal's many fabrications, designed to manipulate a spacer into hunting down and assassinating Thanamiroc. Ultimately, the spacer succeeded in killing Thanamiroc, who at the time was impersonating a bounty hunter. The spacer then provided an AT-ST pilot helmet as evidence of Thanamiroc's death.

Trone Thanamiroc was featured as a non-player character in Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game from 2003 developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The appearance of Trone Thanamiroc varied each time a player undertook the quest due to the way older quests were designed in Star Wars Galaxies. While Bren Kingal's dialogue suggested Thanamiroc was male, his species was never specified, and he could manifest in various forms. For this specific quest, Thanamiroc would appear using the bounty hunter spawn template, meaning he could appear as a Rodian male in Mandalorian armor, or even as an IG assassin droid.
