Triumph was a medium cruiser of the Strike-class and served the Galactic Empire.
Alongside other Strike cruisers such as Formidable and Indomitable, as well as the Grey Wolf, an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, it participated in a mission to intercept a strike force dispatched by Grand Admiral Zaarin. This strike force was intended to ambush a convoy believed to be transporting Missile Boats, but which in reality carried munitions. The strike force was annihilated, and the ships jumped to hyperspace. Subsequently, it served as an escort for Task Force Whirlwind, which was tasked with meeting a convoy of Missile Boats used as bait to draw Zaarin's forces into an ambush. However, Zaarin deployed the Maelstrom to eliminate the task force, but the attack was unsuccessful. Despite this failure, the Maelstrom delayed the task force sufficiently to cause it to fall significantly behind schedule.
