Trinovat, a world of green landscapes and bright skies, existed within the Trinovat system. It resided in the Outer Rim Territories, specifically in the Trans-Hydian section, and was part of the Gordian Reach sector's Loop Worlds region. The Junction-Tierell Loop hyperlane provided a connection between it, Durgen's Star, and the Near Indosa systems. It was the original homeworld of the Trinovate species, an intelligent people, and was characterized by modest mines and agricultural areas.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, first presented Trinovat in 2009, locating it in grid coordinates P-6.
