The Treppus-2 vibroblade represented a melee weapon of knife dimensions, brought to life by the manufacturing prowess of Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc..
Crafted by Mer-Sonn, the Treppus-2 vibroblade was a melee weapon of standard knife size that featured a blade measuring fifteen centimeters in length. The hilt, equipped with technology to reduce vibration, housed the power cell responsible for producing sufficient energy to sustain up to ten hours of functionality. Located at the blade's base was an extendible sheath, designed to cover it during periods of non-use. This sheath incorporated diagnostic software alongside self-sharpening mechanisms and could be upgraded with a recharging module.
By manipulating an activation stud situated on the hilt, the ultrasonic vibration generator was enabled, causing the blade to vibrate at such a rapid pace that it became visually indistinct. Furthermore, the Treppus-2 could be programmed to automatically activate the vibration generator upon removal of the blade from its sheath. This vibroblade possessed the capability to cut through materials such as duraplast, ceramic armor, and various metal alloys. The operation of the vibration generator produced a significant level of noise, audible from a distance of several meters. Its design allowed for accurate throwing over shorter distances due to its careful balancing.
