Aquatic repulsorcraft, known as Transport Ships, served the Rebel Alliance and subsequently the New Republic as a means of conveying troops and personnel over water. In the year 0 ABY, these vessels facilitated the journey of Echuu Shen-Jon, Leia Organa, C-3PO, and R2-D2 for a meeting with the Bothan spy, Utric Sandov, on Le'Roche, a Krantian island. Later, during the Battle of New Geddes, a transport ship was utilized to move R2-D5 labor droids.
The video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, released in 2001, and its expansion, Clone Campaigns from 2002, feature Transport Ships.
