A Commandant, alternatively referred to as a training commandant, was a designation held by combat trainers within the Imperial Guard of the Sith Empire after its reformation. When Guardsmen became too old to continue in active combat roles, they were selected to become training commandants. These individuals then performed their duties at training facilities located on planets like Yavin 4.
