The Tibrin revolution took place in 22 BBY, after the commencement of the Clone Wars. The people of Tibrin desired to align with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, but their leader, Suribran Tu, preferred to stay allied with the Galactic Republic. After Tu employed oppressive methods to suppress the revolt, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku journeyed to Tibrin and killed the dictator.
