The deep chasm on Aargonar 3, situated in close proximity to the Aargonar 3 rebel base, was dubbed The Pit by the inhabitants of the planet. It housed the most famous sarlacc of the moon's legends. Despite the widespread belief that this was the sole sarlacc on the moon, several others existed in the more remote regions of the planet.
