The LucasArts Archives Vol. III, released in 1997, represented the second compilation of earlier LucasArts video game titles bundled for retail, subsequent to the initial and second installments. Star Wars: Dark Forces (the complete game) was part of the package, accompanied by demo versions of various other Star Wars games. A unified user manual, encompassing instructions for every game, was provided with the collection.
A fourth volume was later released as a follow-up to this collection.
