Before the Seizure of Coruscant, Corran Horn visited the cantina seeking refreshment. There, he observed Tycho Celchu in conversation with Lai Nootka, whom Corran initially misidentified as Kirtan Loor. In the process of attempting to confirm this identification, Corran was set upon by Zekka Thyne alongside a band of Black Sun enforcers who attempted to assassinate him. He successfully fled the scene by commandeering a Zoom II speeder bike belonging to an uninvolved Rodian.
