Established by the Cobral family, The Cobral was a collective of smugglers and black market dealers that ultimately seized control of Frego's planetary administration, located within the Core Worlds, throughout the final decades of the Old Republic. The Cobrals' reign over Frego ended when Solan Cobral, a member of the Cobral family, murdered his brother Rutin to secure his position as the family's leader.
Following the imprisonment of the Cobral's leadership, remnants of the organization migrated to Rori, a moon of Naboo, turning it into their operational hub and forming the Neo-Cobral.
