The Cabal represents a set of exploratory missions initiated by Deamos Na-Coth in the era of the Galactic Republic. Their purpose was to locate the mythical world known as Exo. These missions each involved a large colony ship equipped with an early model of hyperdrive technology. A significant number of Cabal voyages met with unfortunate outcomes, including instances of mutiny, assaults by pirates, encounters with destructive ion storms, failures of the hyperdrive system, or simply vanishing without a trace. However, one vessel, named the Exocros Cabal, successfully established a civilization on the planet Exocron, situated within the region of the Kathol Outback.
