Talpini were a sentient species indigenous to the world of Tal Pi. Weeteef Cyu-Bee, who was a member of the Partisans, belonged to this species.
The Talpini were a sentient species of small-statured humanoids originating on Tal Pi, a planet situated in the Outer Rim. They possessed a fur covering and a downward-turned mouth featuring at least one row of pointed teeth. Their skin could be colored brown, orange, pink, tan, or a light color, and their hair could be black, brown, gray, orange, or white. Their diminutive stature allowed Talpini to easily hide amongst larger individuals.
During the High Republic Era, there lived a Talpini named Zeetar. Zeetar, as a member of the Nihil, held the position of one of the three Tempest Runners and invented various devices including Scav droids and powersuit to be on par with Pan Eyta.
Weeteef Cyu-Bee, a male Talpini, was among the most destructive members serving within the Partisans under the leadership of Saw Gerrera. Cyu-Bee aided the Partisans during a prolonged campaign fighting against the Imperial occupation on Jedha.
"Steely Carl," a male Talpini, worked as a security guard for Oga Garra located on the planet of Batuu.
