Tales from a Galaxy Far, Far Away: Aliens: Volume I


Aliens: Volume I: Tales from a Galaxy Far, Far Away, initially known as Creatures of the Outer Rim, is a compilation of six short stories penned by Landry Q. Walker. Disney–Lucasfilm Press released it in hardcover on April 5, 2016. Before this, four of the short stories were originally available as eBooks starting on December 1, 2015. All six narratives revolve around various aliens that appear in the film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. This book is designed for readers between the ages of 8 and 12.

  • In "High Noon on Jakku," Constable Zuvio is compelled to investigate when a trustworthy droid unexpectedly robs a bank.
  • "The Face of Evil" sees the Frigosian cryptosurgeons of Takodana granting a fugitive exactly what she desires.
  • The repulsive junk dealer Unkar Plutt may have finally encountered his equal in the intricate story "True Love."
  • In the fable " All Creatures Great and Small ," Bobbajo, the Crittermonger, recounts a courageous tale against insurmountable odds.
  • "A Recipe for Death" unfolds as the cook at Maz Kanata's castle, after his sous chef is found dead, organizes an unconventional competition to identify the perpetrator.
  • "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku" depicts pirates, gangs, and bounty hunters in a frantic search for valuable goods. [5]
