Super battle droid rocket trooper

The super battle droid rocket trooper, also referenced as the B2 super rocket trooper or simply the B2 Rocket Trooper, represented an enhanced iteration of the B2-RP battle droid. This upgraded model was deployed by the Separatist Alliance during the concluding portions of the Clone Wars.

Attributes

The super battle rocket troopers were a specific type belonging to the B2-series super battle droid line, acting as an improvement upon the earlier B2-RP super battle droid. This version was equipped with a jetpack that consisted of two large engines mounted on the shoulders, along with smaller auxiliary thrusters affixed to the droid's ankles. For armament, these battle droids used wrist-mounted laser cannons, each possessing four barrels. Similar to the standard design, these droids also incorporated red sensors.

Historical Information

B2 Rocket Troopers saw combat during the Battle of Ringo Vinda. They participated with droidekas in a final offensive. This push resulted in the retreat of the Republic army, following the death of Jedi Master Tiplar at the hands of the mentally compromised clone trooper named "Tup."

Later, B2 Rocket Troopers were tasked with infiltrating a Republic shuttle. Teaming up with an HMP droid gunship and a group of Pistoeka sabotage droids, their mission was to capture Tup, who was responsible for the Jedi's demise. Four super rocket troopers accompanied the gunship, systematically destroying the starfighter escort before focusing on the damaged shuttle. The droids forcefully entered the cargo bay, quickly eliminating all other clones within the craft while the buzz droids released Tup. Subsequently, they delivered Tup to Admiral Trench and later stood guard over the shuttle piloted by Kraken until its departure. Furthermore, this model participated in the Battle of Anaxes.
