During a meeting with Zsinj aboard the Super Star Destroyer Iron Fist, Loran consumed fowl prepared with a sunfruit marinade. He enjoyed the dish, but secretly worried it might be poisoned. Governor Carmal of Lavisar had an affinity for sunfruit liqueur, a weakness that the New Republic aimed to exploit in their ongoing campaign against Zsinj. By offering Carmal sunfruit liqueur as a gift, in addition to military subterfuge, the New Republic hoped to persuade him to betray his allegiance to the warlord. In the same year, the Sunfruit Promenade lounge opened its doors to customers on Storinal.
