Star Wars Launch Bay, a themed attraction, can be found in various Disney parks, showcasing displays, treasured items, and authentic movie props directly from the Star Wars film franchise. Furthermore, guests have the opportunity to pose for photographs alongside performers dressed as characters, and to purchase a wide selection of related merchandise.
The unveiling of this attraction occurred during Disney's D23 Expo on August 15, 2015, as part of a presentation that highlighted other forthcoming park features. It subsequently debuted at Disneyland on November 16 and at Disney's Hollywood Studios on December 4 of the same year, followed by an opening at Shanghai Disneyland on June 16, 2016. The Shanghai location was eventually shut down in June of 2019.
