Delve into the origins and history of lightsabers from across all of Star Wars, including Darth Maul's double-bladed lightsaber and the Darksaber.

Uncover previously unseen artwork and illustrations. With photorealistic renderings of lightsabers from Star Wars animation and comics, such as Ezra Bridger's blaster-lightsaber hybrid, the Grand Inquisitor's rotating lightsabers, and a brand-new lightsaber from The High Republic, this book is an absolute necessity for Star Wars enthusiasts.

Canon Inconsistencies

  • On page 12, the line "To strike an unarmed man is hardly the Jedi way" is incorrectly attributed to Anakin Skywalker; The Father actually said it.
  • On page 26, within the last paragraph, "Ahsoka's" is written with the spelling "Ashoka's".
  • On page 146, Leia's lightsaber is described inaccurately as being "silver and gold", when its true colors were silver and copper.
  • Depa Billaba's lightsaber is shown as blue instead of green. While this goes against Depa Billaba's green blade in Star Wars: Kanan, [2] the Star Wars: The Bad Batch episode "Aftermath" also showed this new color. [3]
