A tense confrontation unfolded at the Republic Central Medcenter in 20 BBY. This incident was triggered when Besany Wennen, an Agent from the Republic Treasury, discovered the medical droids were planning to euthanize Fi Skirata, having wrongly assessed him as brain-dead. To prevent this, Wennen brandished her blaster at the droids, compelling them to vacate Fi's room. She then secured the room by shooting the door's locking mechanism, barricading herself and Fi inside. As a result of this action, Captain Jaller Obrim of the Coruscant Security Force (CSF), a friend of Wennen, arrived at the scene. He brought with him numerous CSF police officers and half the personnel from the Anti-Terrorism Unit. With a prominent display of weaponry and armor, Obrim and the CSF forcefully entered the medcenter, advanced down the corridor, and safely extracted Wennen and Fi from the room.
During a mission on Gaftikar, Fi Skirata, a clone commando, suffered a severe brain injury, necessitating his transfer to the Republic Central Medcenter on Coruscant. Upon the request of Kal Skirata, Besany Wennen, an Agent working for the Republic Treasury, was tasked with monitoring Fi's condition. It was during this watch that she uncovered the medical droids' plan to euthanize Fi based on their erroneous diagnosis of brain death.

Using her blaster, Wennen intimidated the droids, forcing them to leave Fi's room. She then shot the locking mechanism, barricading herself and Fi inside. This led to a standoff, during which Skirata contacted Jaller Obrim, a Captain in the Coruscant Security Force, requesting assistance. Obrim responded by deploying several CSF officers and half of the Anti-Terrorism Unit. With a clear show of force, displaying their weapons and armor, Obrim and the CSF charged down the hallway and, with the aid of CSF paramedics, escorted Wennen and Fi to safety. Upon reaching the lobby, a medical droid intervened, protesting their right to move the unconscious Fi. Obrim, threatening to expose compromising information about the droid's superior, successfully secured Fi's release. Accompanied by Wennen, they departed the medical center under the protection of the CSF officers, who remembered Fi's heroic actions during the Galactic City Spaceport hostage crisis.
Fi was then relocated to Jaller Obrim's residence, where he received medical attention from a rented medical droid. Later, Fi was secretly transferred to the planet Mandalore.
