The Staff of Power was an object imbued with the Force that possessed immense power, capable of amplifying the Force-related capabilities of its wielder. Logray, the Ewok shaman dwelling in Bright Tree Village located on the forest moon of Endor, employed this very staff as his weapon. This staff empowered Logray to execute more effective acts of "magic". He was constantly in possession of it, and he carefully protected it. Logray had the authority to grant access to the staff's power to whomever he selected, for instance, the youthful Ewok warrior Wicket Wystri Warrick. Those who were not authorized by Logray to wield the staff would experience a severe burn or electrical shock upon attempting to grasp it. Despite this safeguard, the Dark Wizard Stagorr managed to seize the staff on one occasion.
