Sarlacc A and B Battalions, led by Jedi General Vaas Ga alongside Clone Commander Gree, found themselves isolated behind enemy positions on Dinlo, necessitating a rescue operation. The RAS Fearless under the command of General Etain Tur-Mukan responded, deploying Improcco Company to facilitate their extraction.
Both factions sustained a number of losses. The Separatist forces lost battle droids and B2 super battle droids. Improcco Company incurred relatively light losses, with 4 soldiers killed and fifteen injured. Sarlacc battalions A and B experienced heavier casualties, reporting 94 fatalities and 215 wounded.
Originally, the clash was intended to occur 367 standard days following the Battle of Geonosis; however, The Essential Reader's Companion subsequently situated Republic Commando: Triple Zero within 22 BBY to align with the timeline of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
