Skeezer

title: Skeezer

During the Galactic Civil War, Skeezer held the rank of captain within the Imperial forces. In 0 ABY, Admiral Termo dispatched Skeezer to the Yavin system with the mission of discovering what became of the first Death Star. Upon arrival, Rebel forces shot down his vessel and took him prisoner. Han Solo, impersonating a physician, attempted to trick the perfectly healthy Imperial into revealing information, claiming he required bacta treatment from the Death Star. Skeezer, unaware that the station's entire bacta supply was destroyed, panicked and disclosed that it had been contaminated. When he learned that "Doctor" Chewbacca was to perform the operation, Skeezer lost consciousness. The Rebels subsequently imprisoned him, but he managed to escape to Yavin 8, where a Rebel pilot killed him in combat.

Biography

Skeezer, a male captain in the service of the Imperial Navy, operated around the time of the Battle of Yavin. At that time, he was aboard the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer named Liquidator, which was stationed in the Delrakkin system awaiting communication from Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. The last message received from the Grand Moff indicated that he was en route to the Yavin system with the Death Star battle station, intending to obliterate a crucial Alliance to Restore the Republic base located on the moon known as Yavin 4.

Admiral Termo, who commanded from the Liquidator, grew concerned by the prolonged silence from Tarkin. Consequently, he ordered Skeezer to prepare his modified, smaller Carrack-class light cruiser for departure to the Yavin system, meeting him personally in the launch bay to provide instructions. Skeezer's assignment was to ascertain the fate of the Death Star and Tarkin, address the situation as needed, and then return to the Liquidator. The admiral cautioned Skeezer against using hyperspace transmissions to avoid detection by the Alliance. In addition to the cruiser's four crew members, Skeezer was given command of three squads of stormtroopers and three TIE pilots, who were to pilot the TIE/LN starfighters mounted on the cruiser's exterior rack.

Personality and traits

Skeezer typically maintained a stoic expression, rarely revealing his emotions, although the prospect of his mission to the Yavin system did cause him some apprehension.
