Skar was a Sith Lord of the Sith Empire during the period of the Cold War, identified as a male Human. Subsequent to his education at the Korriban Academy, Lord Skar became the apprentice of Darth Thanaton.
In 3640 BBY, during the Battle of Corellia, Thanaton relieved the commanding officer of the 115th positioned at the Islands Outpost, and subsequently appointed Skar as his replacement. Following his defeat by Thanaton's rival, Kallig, in the Kaggath, Skar consented to reveal Thanaton's strategy. He then communicated to his Master's adversary that Thanaton planned the destruction of the fuel refinery that supported Kallig's fleet. After Thanaton retreated from a duel with Kallig while observed by numerous Sith and Imperials, Skar disclosed to Kallig that Thanaton's destination was Korriban, where he sought to gain support from the Dark Council.
