Here we see the Sith Academy situated on Korriban. Sith academies functioned as institutions created for the purpose of training individuals in the ways of the Sith. Academies like the Trayus Academy, the Sith Arts Academy, and the Korriban academy were all established by both the Sith Empire and the Brotherhood of the Sith. The One Sith utilized the Temple of the Sith as their primary academy.
During the time of the New Sith Wars, academies were organized based on four distinct levels of student capability. Those Force sensitive individuals who showed potential as Sith warriors and marauders were dispatched to specific academies. Potential Sith assassins and spies were sent to different worlds that had allied themselves with the Sith against the Republic. Those with promise as Sith Acolytes and adepts were sent elsewhere, while the academy located on Korriban was exclusively reserved for individuals demonstrating the potential to become Sith Masters or Sith Lords. Within the Korriban academy, the ratio was six students for every Master.
