Silver Station, formerly called Machenry Station, was a clandestine resistance space station operating in secrecy near the Dragonflower Nebula within the Doldur sector, situated in the Mid Rim.
This space station measured four hundred meters long. Its design featured a central cubic structure adjoined by numerous interconnected cylindrical sections. The precise location of this station was a closely guarded secret, known only to a select few, where resistance figurehead Una Poot provided resources to seven Rebel cells operating in the adjacent area. Silver Station's original purpose was to extract gas from the adjacent nebula. However, after its abandonment, Una Poot discovered it, installed two dozen enormous storage tanks, and transformed the structure into her central command.
Shortly following the Battle of Yavin, the youthful heiress Tinian I'att Azur-Jamin and her associates journeyed to Silver Station to confer with Poot. Although Tinian played a key role in thwarting a Ranat scheme to destroy the station, the majority of its occupants were compelled to evacuate when Imperial troops appeared and seized control of the outpost.
Una Poot renamed the station Silver Station; it was initially known as Machenry Station.
