Silunes stood out as a highly recognized settlement established by the Gran race originating from the Kinyen world in the Expansion Region. This settlement was known for its esteemed grape farms. These settlements initially brought both fame and riches to Kinyen, but the conflict with the Dug on Malastare, along with widespread conflict in the settlements, eventually caused the Gran to abandon them.
The Strongholds of Resistance sourcebook, released in 2015 for the Star Wars Roleplaying game, references Silunes. Fantasy Flight Games published the book for use with the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG system.
