Shko-yagu

The shko-yagu represented a significant rite of passage among the Trandoshan people. This ceremony, marking a person's transformation and passage beyond the halfway point of their existence, necessitated periods of deep thought, abstinence from food, and continuous pursuit of prey. Upon concluding the ritual, the Trandoshan needed to ingest a fragment of their shed epidermis.

It is documented that the hunter Qyzen Fess underwent this very ritual at some point during the era known as the Cold War.
