Sector One was a location situated on the planet of Anaxes. It served as a strategic point for the Separatist Alliance's droid army during the Clone Wars' Battle of Anaxes, which took place in 19 BBY. During this conflict, a Galactic Republic Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunship flew in the vicinity of Sector One. On board were Clone Force 99, Clone Commander Cody, Clone Captain Rex, Advanced Recon Commando Jesse, and Kix.
However, a Separatist battle droid scout detected the troopers and promptly informed an OOM command battle droid along with a droid battalion present in Sector One about the approaching Republic vessel. Subsequently, Separatist forces employed DSD1 dwarf spider droids to shoot down the gunship, causing it to crash in a nearby canyon. Inside the canyon, the droid battalion briefly clashed with the clone troopers, which led to the ship's destruction. Despite being shot down, the clone troopers proceeded with their objective to infiltrate a Separatist Cyber Center.
The initial appearance of Sector One occurred in "The Bad Batch," which served as the premiere episode of the seventh and final season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. This episode was broadcast on Disney+ on February 21, 2020. Prior to its official release, an early version of the episode, presented as an unfinished story reel, was screened at Celebration Anaheim on April 17, 2015. Later, on April 29, it was made available on StarWars.com as a component of The Clone Wars Legacy multimedia initiative.
