Scout Wheelbike

The Scout Wheelbike served as a military reconnaissance vehicle, derived from a Gallis-Tech model originally intended for civilian use.

Characteristics

Fundamentally, a wheelbike consisted of a sizable single wheel, approximately two meters across, housing the pilot and its operational components.

The militarized Scout Wheelbike, unlike the original two-seat civilian version, was designed for a single pilot, and substituted the passenger seat with a repeating blaster.

History

Due to the harsh weather conditions on Sedesia that hindered repulsorcraft, the Gallis-Tech Scout Wheelbike was among the wheelbike models employed by the COMPNOR Regiment stationed there.

The pilots, who had previously received instruction on operating speeder bikes, were equipped with enhanced armor and fully enclosed helmets appropriate for their former role, but did not have specialized wheelbike training.
