Biography

During the time of the Galactic Civil War, Rorith Khadur, a male Kupohan, was a soldier for the New Republic, holding the rank of private. He participated in the Battle of Nag Ubdur in 5 ABY, as a member of the New Republic Thirty-First. At Govneh Ridge, a shifting landmass characterized by protruding ground and abundant crystals, he and his unit fought against deeply entrenched Imperial forces. During the conflict, Hachinka, Khadur's squad leader, was struck in the neck by a blaster shot, causing blood to splatter onto Khadur. He and his comrades were able to get her away from the battle. Despite suffering significant casualties, the Thirty-First succeeded in capturing the ridge.

Later, Khadur and his unit arrived at the Ubdurian city of Binjai-Tin, where they discovered that the retreating Imperial forces had massacred the local inhabitants. Knowing the suffering of the city's residents under Imperial rule, Khadur was deeply affected by the devastation. He was later interviewed by Tracene Kane, a journalist working for the Queen of the Core Network, and Lug, the Trandoshan camera operator. Visibly traumatized and shell-shocked, Khadur recounted the events of the fighting to Kane and Lug.

After the interview, Lug showed his support for Khadur by giving him a zlagfiend tooth as a token of good fortune. Expressing his thanks, Khadur grasped Lug's hand before departing. Shortly thereafter, he and his comrades were caught in a suicide attack by TIE fighters, which resulted in many casualties for the New Republic forces stationed in Binjai-Tin. Khadur suffered the loss of an arm in the attack but managed to hold onto Lug's good-luck charm. Sadly, Lug was killed in the attack when he was crushed by a solar panel from a TIE.
