Rols'Kus

The Rols'Kus, a massive arena with a capacity of 250,000 spectators, stood proudly on the planet of Coyn. This arena served as the primary venue for the kus'nar gladiatorial games, a hugely popular form of entertainment for the Coynites. These combats, considered a sport by the Coynites, were not typically fought to the death unless a combatant refused to yield to their adversary. However, the majority of these battles resulted in significant injuries to one of the participants, leading many "cultured" beings to perceive them as savage displays. Games took place nightly, with special day-long competitions and championships organized during holidays. Generally, individuals from other worlds were excluded from participating in these events. Coynites considered participation in the games a great privilege, with many aspiring young warriors striving to achieve the title of Tawws'Kroyn, or "Most Honorable Champion Warrior." While most contests involved hand-to-hand fighting or melee combat, there was also a target shooting competition that utilized antique firearms, blasters, and bows. Each competition was structured as a series of elimination rounds. The arena itself boasted climate control technology and a holo projection system, ensuring that every spectator had an unobstructed view of the action.

During the rule of the Galactic Empire, General Afren Hul, who held the position of governor of the planet Derilyn, commissioned the construction of an arena on Derilyn known as the Arena of Games, which was designed to replicate the Rols'Kus. This action was met with animosity by many Coynites on Coyn, who interpreted Hul's imitation of the Rols'Kus as a disrespectful mockery of their honorable combat traditions.
