Riegenn Hetuu

Riegenn Hetuu, a hunter, plied his trade more than a century prior to the Cold War era, the conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Circa 3743 BBY, a Hutt engaged Hetuu's services to procure a living k'lor'slug queen for the Hutt's yearly gladiatorial tournament held on the planet of Nal Hutta. While Hetuu managed to capture the queen, he overlooked the creature's reproduction capabilities. Upon opening the cargo hold of his starship, approximately four hundred k'lor'slugs swarmed out, devouring both Hetuu and the Hutt who had hired him. This event led to the coining of the phrase "a Hutt's cry," describing the noise made by a group of k'lor'slugs, and even a hundred years after his death, Hetuu remained a well-known hunter.

Behind the scenes

The Codex entry for k'lor'slugs in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game from BioWare that came out in 2011, included a reference to Riegenn Hetuu.
