Rickert Beagle

Rickert Beagle was an Alderaanian Communications Officer of male gender. He served aboard the Sunspire, a frigate given as a gift to the Alderaan Flotilla in 5 ABY. This flotilla consisted of seven vessels and carried the remaining survivors from the planet Alderaan, which had been destroyed by the Galactic Empire. While the ships were assembled in the Alderaan system, specifically within the debris field of Alderaan, the Sunspire's sensors detected several large vessels nearing their location. Concerned, Beagle used a hologram to contact Eglyn Valmor, the Alderaanians' Regent Administrator, before quickly announcing that the approaching ships had proper New Republic identification. These ships were delivering the wreckage of the Death Star to the flotilla as a present from the New Republic. Subsequently, some proposed using the wreckage to construct a space station for the Alderaanian people to inhabit.
