Rholl, a Wookiee pirate of the male persuasion (male), operated during the Cold War era, a period of tension between the Galactic Republic and the newly reformed Sith Empire. As per the account of Kaliyo Djannis, a former colleague of Rholl's, he was a pirate known for his volatile disposition, who made his living by seizing supply vessels belonging to the Galactic Republic. Their relationship was reportedly intimate, with Rholl viewing Kaliyo as akin to a daughter, but their bond fractured when Kaliyo demanded a greater share of the spoils and attempted to pilfer from him. In the ensuing conflict, Kaliyo's assassination attempt failed, resulting only in a broken arm for Rholl. Several years after, Kaliyo orchestrated his demise by enlisting Imperial Intelligence to mark him as a target, ultimately leading to his assassination at the hands of Cipher Nine.
