The legal dispute titled Reson Nath v. Imperial Prefect Adar occurred during the time of the Galactic Empire's rule. Reson Nath, a bounty hunter, gave money to Imperial Prefect Adar's nephew in exchange for intelligence. However, instead of using the funds for university as Adar intended, the young man used it to run away with his girlfriend. In response, Adar accused Nath of violating the laws of the Bounty Hunters' Guild's House Paramexor chapter. The trial was held on the planet [Denevar], with a panel of five Humans acting as judges to determine the verdict. This panel included Janq Paramexor, his aide [Kaith], and Moff [Gorliz], who represented the Imperial leader Emperor Palpatine. After the charges were presented to Nath and she presented her defense, the judges decided that, following Paramexor law, Nath and Adar were to settle their differences through a sword fight.
