Rennax Omani was a Padawan of the Jedi Order and a Commander within the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. She was a female Human who served both the Jedi and the Galactic Republic.
Rennax Omani, a Force-sensitive Human, received training in the Force at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in the years leading up to the Separatist Crisis. As the Clone Wars broke out across the galaxy, Omani reluctantly accepted the position of Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic, becoming the Padawan of Jedi Master B'ink Utrila. Early in her apprenticeship, Omani joined her Master on a mission to retrieve a Sith amulet, specifically the Gauntlet of Kressh the Younger, from a temple located on Draay 2. The purpose was to prevent Sith Lord Count Dooku from acquiring it with the help of clone troopers. While inside the temple, Omani's apparent inability to remember basic lessons from her time at the Temple academy frustrated her master. Following the temple's destruction and the completion of their mission, Omani made the decision to leave the Jedi Order, desiring to return to her homeworld and find her parents. Utrila respected her decision and permitted her departure from the Order amicably.
