Regalia system

The Regalia system was situated within the Meram sector. This sector itself was a component of the New Territories, which in turn formed a section of the Outer Rim Territories.

Behind the scenes

The system called Regalia made its debut in The Essential Atlas, a reference book from 2009. Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry penned this atlas, locating Regalia in grid square O-4. The system's designation was inspired by the Regalia Sub-space station-12, which was referenced in Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a 1993 book. This publication merges creature designs and images from different projects by George Lucas, the mind behind Star Wars, along with original writing from Bob Carrau. Leland Chee, an employee of Lucasfilm who is in charge of the Holocron continuity database, has stated that the details within Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas are considered non-canonical in relation to the Star Wars Legends storyline.
