During the events of 3.5 ABY within the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance erected a short-term, pre-built installation on Kile, which orbits the gas giant Zhar as one of its moons. This served as a staging ground for the starfighter group known as Rogue Squadron. Operating out of the Kile installation, Rogue Squadron executed a raid targeting the Imperial forces located on the adjacent moon, Gall.
