The R-444 Imperial Sky Swooper from Nen-Carvon marked the corporation's initial foray into the domain of repulsor drive vehicles. Drawing inspiration from the para-wing gliders employed on Cloud City, it featured a pilot-mounted blaster positioned overhead. Due to its glider-like nature, the vehicle operated at a reduced noise level compared to typical repulsor vehicles, rendering it appropriate for utilization by the Galactic Empire in covert Stormtrooper incursions, as well as patrol missions across varied landscapes like the forested planet of Aris and the chasms of Ebra. Control of the R-444 was achieved via a leg rest bar and hand grips connected to the wings. Piloting was relatively straightforward, particularly at slower speeds, and the repulsor unit facilitated effortless long-range travel. However, the pilot's reliance on both hands and legs for steering presented challenges in effectively employing the blaster.
