Pols Anaxes, the main city of Anaxes, housed the Anaxes Citadel and served as the planet's central spaceport for civilians. The city, along with the nearby terraced Sirpar Hills, exuded elegance, with almost all motorized vehicles prohibited from its surface. Instead, underground access tubes facilitated the movement of speeders and groundcars. The only vehicles permitted above ground were silent hover-limos and carriages pulled by Keffi.
Additionally, the city contained one of the Republic Detention Centers. By 19 BBY, the 55th Mechanized Infantry was in command of this detention center.
