Pelican was a vessel used for transportation by scavengers of the Muurian race; it was a Muurian transport.
The group it belonged to once tried to seize a malfunctioning Viper probe droid of the Galactic Empire that had been abandoned within the Saila Na system. Nevertheless, Ace Azzameen, aboard the Otana, also sought to obtain the droid for Aeron's purposes, leading to a skirmish between the two groups in the area.
The Otana emerged as the winner, obliterating the entirety of the scavenger group and successfully acquiring the droid.
