Patch Bruit held the position of chief of field operations for Lommite Limited back in 33 BBY. He had been with the company for almost two decades, having risen through the ranks from the lommite mines; however, he harbored a long-held desire to begin anew and move to Coruscant or another of the Core Worlds, where he would create a different existence. Jurnel Arrant commanded him to enlist the Toom clan to undermine their competitor, InterGalactic Ore; however, the Tooms double-crossed him, damaging both LL and InterGal. In cooperation with Caba'Zan, Bruit spearheaded an attack against the clan's secret base located on Riome. After the clan's downfall, Darth Maul used the Force choke to murder him. Subsequently, Darth Maul falsely attributed the sabotage of both companies to Bruit.
