The Palarians originated from the planet called Pal Goral, and they were a sentient species.
It was common for them to be enlisted for employment on Duroon, a Corporate Sector world. But upon arrival, the jobs they were told about ended up being similar to slavery, and the Palarians were compelled to mine the planet's extensive resources along with other enslaved species. The Palarians resisted this situation, and initiated a guerrilla conflict against the Corporate Sector Authority.
