In approximately 18 BBY, Paccosh official Uingali foar Marocsaa made use of multiple shuttles to evade a plasma sphere attack on his Nikardun blockade frigate, the Aelos. This evasion occurred during an assault on the homeworld of Rapacc, the Paccosh planet, which was executed by Kilji Illumine General Crofyp's task force. Subsequently, the Aelos journeyed to Sposia, the world of the Chiss, where a Paccian shuttle transported Senior Captain Thrawn of the Chiss and a Vagaari gravity well projector to the blockade frigate. As a shuttle approached the Aelos, Admiral Ar'alani of the Chiss Ascendancy, the governing body of the Chiss species, questioned Senior Commander Biclian regarding the nature of the approaching craft, asking if it was indeed a shuttle. Upon receiving confirmation and a follow-up question, Ar'alani confirmed its identity as a Paccian shuttle.
The Paccian shuttle received a mention in the 2021 novel titled Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, which serves as the concluding installment in Timothy Zahn's Ascendancy Trilogy.
