Oviparous

Oviparous species laid eggs that were not fully developed; these eggs then hatched outside the mother's body, instead of giving birth to live offspring. The majority of reptiles were oviparous. Examples of non-reptilian species that employed this reproductive strategy included mollusks such as the swamp slugs, reptavians like the peko-peko, avians such as the Pylat birds, and amphibians like the Shawda Ubb. In a less common instance, certain mammals, for instance the S'kytri, were also oviparous.
