Oru, situated within the Outer Rim Territories, was a planet that served as the original home of the Oruans, a society of human warriors. The First Order invaded and exploited the planet, depleting its natural resources and rendering it toxic. Mezlo, a strategist, spearheaded a group of Oruans in a resistance effort against the First Order's occupation. Although their efforts came close to victory, ultimately, the Oruans were compelled to evacuate the planet for their survival, establishing their new base at Horizon Base.
